Moreno Valley Museum & ArtSpace Now Welcomes the Public at Moreno Valley Mall

MORENO VALLEY, Riverside County — October 26, 2026. A new arts and history destination has opened inside Moreno Valley Mall. The Moreno Valley Museum & ArtSpace began admitting public visitors on September 25; city officials held an invitation-only celebration on October 12 and published a formal announcement October 13.

What visitors can experience

The venue combines an interactive museum, immersive exhibition space, curated retail, a café and areas for community events. Its debut presentation, Immersive Van Gogh: The Next Chapter, uses projected art, sound and storytelling. The project is a partnership between Moreno Valley and Lighthouse Immersive.

Families considering a visit should check admission costs, exhibition dates, accessibility information and opening hours at the official museum site. The city has not said that every exhibition or special program is permanently free, so California58 will not advertise universal free entry.

Opportunity for working artists

The museum is also starting an Artist-in-Residence program featuring individual artists and their work. The city says applications are open through its artist portal, which allows artists to upload their work. The announcement does not specify guaranteed stipends or acceptances, so applicants should review the full program terms.

This is an existing public venue rather than a proposed project: the city says residents can visit, even though the high-profile formal ribbon cutting took place later. Primary source: City of Moreno Valley, October 13, 2026.
